Overview

Punjab Language Training Center (PLTC) teaches languages online. The team needed a modern website where learners can explore courses, create an account and manage their enrolments, and where staff can run the day to day work without waiting for a developer.

The challenge

One product had to serve several audiences: learners comparing courses, instructors and partners, and staff who publish content regularly. It also needed to look credible, work well on phones and be easy to find in search.

What I did

  • Built the public site with Next.js and TypeScript: course catalog, course pages, blog, success stories, team and contact pages.
  • Added learner accounts with secure sign in, password reset and branded email flows.
  • Created an admin area where staff manage courses, instructors, blog posts, testimonials and enquiries without code changes.
  • Set up role based access on Supabase so each type of user only sees what they should.
  • Added search and sharing basics: sitemap, structured data and social preview images.
  • Added automated tests and type checking to keep releases safe.

What it delivers

  • Learners can browse several languages and their certification tracks, then create an account.
  • Staff publish and update content on their own, from one admin area.
  • A foundation that grows with the center: new languages, courses and instructors are added through the admin area.

Built with

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Supabase
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Zustand
  • Vitest
